Arriving by Plane
From most countries, the easiest way is arriving at one of the international airports ORLY or CDG in Paris. From there you eather take a train or you rent a car directly at the airport.
From Orly Airport by car you will be arriving here within 2 hours, and from CDG Airport within 2h 30 min.
From the U.K. and Portugal there are direct fligts to our nearest airport, Tours (TUF). There are also seasonal flights offered from Dublin, Marseille and Manchester. At the terminal you have easy access to car rentals by most of the reputable companies to choose from. From there you will be at our doorstep within 1h 20 minutes.

Exploring France by car gives you the best experience. It gives you the freedom to tailor your trip just as you like it, whenever you like it, from wherever part of Europe you journey begins…
Please input these coordinates into your navigation system: 47.194686849215856, 1.7579615691961963 and you decide which route suits you the best arriving at Chateau de Fins. Have in mind that while hitting the smaller roads through the countryside in Sologne/Berry you could encounter wild game, so drive carefully.
Arriving by train
From Tours (TUF) airport: You can either use the airport bus services or grab a taxi to Tours Train Station. Your easiers travel destinations by train (SNCF) are either Gièvres or Villefranche-sur-Cher, both with a comfortable time table within 1h 10 min. From there we can arrange to pick you up by car.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport you can hop on the train INTERCITÉ 3625. You can jump of at Vierzon, Issoudun, or Chateauroux. The average journey time from Paris C.D.G. Airport to Vierzon by train is 2 hours 55 minutes, although on the fastest services it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. From there we can arange to pic you up by car.
Direct trains are usually available every day on the route toVierzon. You’re likely to be travelling with TGV, SNCF or OUIGO. As the main train operators on this route, all offer plenty of space for luggage and comfortable seating as standard.
Book train tickets from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in advance instead of buying them on the day.
The TGV can also be boarded directly at CDG airport in Paris and connects to the Eurostar with the UK and other European countries.
From the CDG airport you can also take the SNCF train that take you to our nearby village Villefranche-sur-Cher (total duration 3h 16 min). From there we can arrange to pick you up by car.

Château de Fins

Check-in time: 4pm to 7:30pm
— Early check-in, upon request and if available from 2pm +30€.
Check-out time: before 11am
Breakfast for guest staying in the chateau during venues is included.
Continental Breakfast is served between 08.30 am-11am on our terrace or in the breakfast room every morning.
If you need breakfast earlier than 08 am we offer to bring your breakfast to your door for an extra charge of 8 €.
Breakfast is not included for guests staying in our self-catering apartments.
Please note that served breakfast while staying in one of the gites is not included in the price. However, you can easily add Breakfast as a choice. You have two options to choose from;
Served Continental breakfast at the chateau, or we bring a basket with freshly baked bread from the bakery to your doorstep every morning.
Please make sure to add your choice when booking a gite and for how many people.
For larger groups we can offer a catered set three-course dinner with wine or soft drink.
Up on arrival and each evening we offer a light tray of bread, cheese, fruits, and wine for €28 per person.
Please reserve any meals at least 24 hours in advance.
Let us know of any food intolerances and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.
Children
We prefer not to take children under 10 due to danger that could accure on the farm yards and near water while un-attended.
We do not accept pets
Sorry, we love pets but due to past experiences we’ve decided it’s best to say no.
Damages or loss of property in your room during your stay will be charged against your credit card.
Cancellation policy:
If you cancel between 60 to 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, we will charge 50% of the rental amount. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you don’t show or leave early, we will charge the full rental amount.

By making a booking at Chateau de Fins you and your party agree to the following terms and conditions:
Check in & Check Out Times
Please feel free to check in between 4pm and 10pm on your day of arrival.
We understand that journeys don’t always go as planned and as a result you might arrive later than expected. Please let us know by text or phone call if you’re delayed beyond 10pm, so that we can ensure someone is up to escort you to your rooms!
Please check out of your room by 11 am on the day of departure. You’re more than welcome to hang around a bit longer before you go, it’s just we’ll need to prepare the bedrooms for our next guests.
Deposit
At the time of booking, we will take a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the rest becoming payable during your stay. Payments can be made online using debit or credit cards, as well as by digital bank transfer.
Payment & return of key is due before departure
Up on departure you visit the Bar to return your key and we’ll have your bill ready for you.

Cancelling a booking
The deposit is non-refundable.
If we need to cancel your booking, whilst we hope that this will never happen, for an unforeseen reason, you will be refunded in full.
Room Choice
Whilst we will do everything in our power to allocate you the room of your choice at the time of booking, we reserve the right to allocate you a different room if necessary.
Car Park
We have outside parking for guests on the property. Cars are parked here at their owners risk.
Damage and Breakages
Please tell us about any damage you cause during your stay, so that we can repair or replace anything needed. Accidents happen, but if we feel there’s been wanton carelessness, we reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement.
Windows
Most of our windows are well over 100 years old, and if they slam we lose ancient panes of glass. On your windowsill, you will find little wooden blocks. Please use these to jam the windows when they’re open, so that they can’t slam shut.
Wifi
We provide WiFi Internet access free of charge. However, we are in a very isolated area, and speeds are slow and unreliable. We do not accept responsibility for the performance of our WiFi, which is beyond our control.
We ask that guests use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair level of service for all our guests. The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads/uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited.

Liability
We do not accept any liability for damage, loss or injury to you, to any member of your party, or any of your vehicles or possessions.
Lost Property
Any lost property, if discovered and found, will be held for a period of at least 1 month. We are happy to post lost items via recorded delivery at your own cost, or can put items aside for collection on a subsequent visit.
Missing Items
We reserve the right to charge for items missing from your guest bedroom, including linen, towels, and bathrobes.
Pets
We usually do not accept pets, but can occasionally do so, if we give our consent in advance. We do not have the necessary equipment to look after your pets, so, if you do get our consent to bring your little loved one, please ensure you have everything you need with you.
Prices
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but existing bookings will remain unaffected.
Barbeque
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted within the chateau or any other building on the property.
However, we have a smoking area around the terrace at the chateau, and outside each gite -and with sufficiant ash trays -please make sure to leave the cigarette stubs in those and not on the property.
Accessibility
This is a 600 year old building, and was unfortunately not designed with accessibility in mind. Whilst we do not have any specific facilities for guests with disabilities, we do have one guest house which is on ground level, where we have designed a mobile ramp for wheel chairs.
Please contact us in advance to let us know your requirements, and we can let you know whether or not it would be suitable for your use.
Termination Policy
All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of mind of all members of the household at all times.
Parties within the domain organised by renting guests are prohibited. Furthermore, it is not aloud to privately invite own guests onto our property due to insurance and safety reasons.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance to us or to the other guests. In which case any outstanding account must be settled, and no refunds will be made.
